For FlashSlash 85, a ficlet circa 500 words, Fraser/RayK:

'I'd hammer in the morning...'
[identity profile] annundriel.livejournal.com
Title: Sunk
Character(s)/Pairing: Kowalski, Kowalski/Fraser
Word Count: 1,337
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Ray ends up at the bottom of a lake. He's not entirely sure how.
Notes: Set during "Mountie on the Bounty." It's a bit angsty. And probably what some people would call pre-slash.

Sunk

Title: Chicken Soup for the Soul
Author: [livejournal.com profile] pdxscaper
Pairing: F/K
Rating: G
Word Count: 500

Notes: For the past ten days or so I have been miserably under the weather. PDX was stuck at work, bored out of her gourd. She offered to drabble. I requested due South/chicken soup. What she served up was a delicious slice of feverish!Ray and caring!Fraser, with voices so perfectly them it was like I was watching them in my head. (Which Ray, given the circumstances of the ficlet, would totally understand.)

Go, read, enjoy - and tell her you like it toooooo. :)

Two years ago ( to the day!) I posted a little PWP story called Breathing, feeling quite smug, as I can't write PWPs - plot always comes along and tackles me to the ground. I've been running for 24 months trying to avoid said plot, but it's finally caught me up. So here's the sequel (now with added plot).

Title - Needing
Author - Berty
Rated - PG-13
Pairing - Fraser/Kowalski
Author's Notes - This story won't make a lot of sense unless you've read Breathing, and it follows on directly from that story. It also doesn't really answer a lot of the questions from the original story, but it does ask a lot of new ones!

Title: Subtext
Author: [livejournal.com profile] mikes_grrl
Rating: PG-13, for naughty language
Pairing: F/K, V/S
Warning: post CoTW, a wee touch of angst, and probably boring.
Word Count: 2,400~
Summary: Ray doesn't see it, until he does.

Note: Kind of a surprise story, as I had it as part of a longer story but it actually works better on its own. An idea I'm not going to pursue, though, so if anyone needs a plot bunny, feel free!

Hello, it's yet another new person in DS here. I've been lurking around, but I guess it's time to own up to a little fiction. I run a multi-fandom community, for writing 8-minute stories that include four prompt words. I've been doing it so long that I cheat egregiously, and my entries tend to be more in the 600-750 word area. Anyway, here are the four I've posted for Due South so far: they do get better as they go along... )

Also, for the craftily-minded among you, here are instructions for making a little DS booklet with a single piece of legal-sized paper and a pair of scissors: It's K/F/V, in black and white, and should only take a few minutes to do, I promise :)

Author’s note 2: Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] luzula  for beta and comma therapy

Just posted a new fic in my journal. F/K, first time, post-CotW, 3325 words.

Ray looks up at Fraser abruptly, seeming to jerk out of a trance, and shuts the box with a snap. "Fraser, that's not the point. The ring's fine, the ring's irrelevant. I'm trying to figure out what it's doing here in the first place, not assess the craftsmanship." His eyes narrow. "Look, you said, you said before that us getting married was just a thing on paper. Right? Just a way to keep me up here 'cause nobody up here's got the money to give me a full-time job."

Title: Six Cops and a Baby
Author: Brigantine
Pairing: F/K (implied)
Rating: PG
Length: 600 give or take
Warning: kid!fic, me apparently on drugs
Summary: Frannie's got a grumpy infant on her hands. (Post CotW)

A/N: I actually started this last week in the desperate hope that a bunny would show up for a snippets challenge, but then… I don't even know what the heck happened here. Seriously, I'm throwin' up my hands, no idea.

Here's the thing
[identity profile] mizface.livejournal.com
Title: Making Worldly Interest Subordinate to Sense of Duty
Author: [livejournal.com profile] mizface
Fandom: due South
Pairing: Fraser/RayK
Rating: PG
Word count: around 2040

Author’s notes: Title (and subject) inspired by Pirates of Penzance. I really wanted to get this done by for Talk Like a Pirate Day, but alas, it was not to be. Oh, and also – Ray and Fraser are talking! To each other! Which is a major accomplishment for me, strangely enough.
