This is another one that my son requested, and it took on a life of it's own. I loved writing it, and I hope you guys love reading it too.

Clark seeks out Fraser, looking for answers, but the answers he gets are not what he expected.

I just watched this.  It seemed like something Fraser would be interested in.

I've read a lot of fics where pipeline workers are mentioned, and many fics also mention Fraser's passion about the environment and First Nations rights, and I've also read quite a few F/K futurefics (which would be now 2012).  I'm afraid I don't know too much about any of this.  The only thing I know is that Canada is the biggest supplier of oil to the U.S. and that unfortunately, much of it is locked in the tar sands.  Just to be clear, I am not advocating one way or another.  Watching this, esp. the photos, made me think of Due South, and I thought I might share. :)

(Is there a better place to post this, or is this okay?)

Subject: [rcw139] Announcing... RCW 139: From A Million Miles

Hello everyone!
>
>For 2012, your organizing committee has chosen a theme which reflects the fact
that RCW 139 is all about the incredible people that come together from far and
wide to celebrate Due South and to enjoy each others' company - if only for a
few days... but for a few days that can make an impression for a lifetime. We're
excited to announce that next year's convention will be known as RCW 139: From A
Million Miles. The convention logo will be revealed in the coming weeks!
>
>Registration will start on 5 September, and we will be using a deposit system
once again this year. Full pricing will be announced shortly, although you can
expect that the cost will be similar to last year. Please note that we are
limiting registrations to 100 attendees this year. While we did not reach this
number last year, we feel that setting this cap is important to ensure that we
preserve the intimacy of the convention, the rapport with the guests, and the
overall quality of the experience. We look forward to your early registrations!

It seems as though a whole bunch of Valentine's Day cards intended for various fictional characters have gone astray, and ended up in the hands of fangirls and fanboys instead. Gosh, what a shame. But at least we can enjoy them!

The C6DVD master list

Links to photos and transcriptions of lots and lots of in-character Valentine's Day cards, in a variety of het and slash pairings (and a few threesomes) in due South and eleven other fandoms, including several crossovers. Amazing art! Adorable stories! Come see and squee!

So [livejournal.com profile] simplystars did this meme , and asked others to join in. Apparently, I take direction well.

Hi there. At [livejournal.com profile] j_s_cavalcante 's suggestion, I offer this wee fic I wrote for Fathers' Day, here at my lj.

I just hope I've linked this right, and monstrous apologies if I haven't. *newbie*

I should not be allowed to post unattended. I meant to post this here a couple of days ago, but posted in my lj instead. So now everybody knows I have a thing for the Goat, whether they fan dS or not. *headdesk*

Written for the self-insertion challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] ds_flashfiction.

First up, a tale of girl-meets-car:
It's Half-Past Four (and I'm Shifting Gear)
Pairing: GTO/OFC, hint of F/K
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1100+/-

Next, an alternate ending of sorts:
Baby, You Can Drive My Car (deranged fangrrl remix)
Pairing:OFC/GTO/RayK
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 1600+/-

Finally, a bit of a coda, written for [livejournal.com profile] nolimbs4u (lots of good stuff over there, btw): The Birthday Ficlet (which could really use an actual title)
Pairing: OFC/RayK (the car's parked outside)
Rating: R
Word Count: 670+/-

...'cause we were all feeling, well, angsty, and kind of terrified, so I figured we could use some relief. Plus the Drowning Mountie and Drowning Sidekick emoticons wouldn't leave me alone.

It started as a group effort, really, in a series of comments about section breaks, and we all got sort of loopy. I think that post is still f-locked, though. Alas.

Title: Requital
Author: Tara Keezer
Rating: PG-13
Fandoms: due South/Battlestar Galactica crossover
Notes: Another piece of that BSG thing, and we’re coming down to the wire. 1,850 words that are set immediately after Healer. Also, this is unbeta’d, so mistakes are my own.
Summary: It was dark when he woke up the first time.

Title: Healer
Author: Tara Keezer
Rating: PG
Fandoms: due South/Battlestar Galactica crossover
Notes: More of that BSG thing, 950 words this time. Set after the events described in History. Also, I was convinced there could be no happy for Fraser in this ’verse, but my brain went and surprised me (though I’m not sure this part will convince you of that). Go figure, huh?
Warning: Possibly too much sentimentality, but what could I do? She was an oracle, and they march to the beat of their own drum.
Summary: Fraser isn't entirely free from visions.

Cross-posted to ds_noticeboard, ds_closet and my own journal, so apologies to those who get this three times.

[livejournal.com profile] ds_tarot is a Due South writing project I've been working on for the past six months; 78 drabbles, snippets and short stories based on the 78 cards of the tarot, spanning all four seasons (and pre- and post-show) and including het, gen and slash. Feedback on any or all of these pieces would be much appreciated.

I'm cleaning house today! I wrote this ages ago; hope it works for some of y'all.

Title: Ordinary Days
Author: marysuefanfic / busaikko
Rating: R (bad language, mention of sex and masturbation)
Summary: Post-CotW. Fraser hears voices, and Ray lives one ordinary day at a time.
Warning: mental illness

It'd be nice to have someone to talk to, someone Ray can see, too.

Author: [livejournal.com profile] spuffyduds

Just a couple of sketches to keep my hand in:

[livejournal.com profile] resonant8 asked me to revisit Third Party, two years later.

[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o asked for 10 miles from the nearest town.

This took me forever!! Well to finally complete and post. I've been reading stories for probably 5 years now and have written about 50 stories, but this is the only one to make it! I even made a fancy page for it.
I hope you enjoy and you can post your comment on my live journal.
I wrote this after reading a posted list of drunkfics. Also its kinda a homage to my first ds fic I ever read
The Politics of X. Except mine has a little... happier ending.

Here is my page, click on  the blue star if it's not clear.
